Jason was staying with his Gran at her holiday caravan in Winchelsea, East Sussex for the August Bank Holiday Weekend. She went out shopping in the morning, leaving him sleeping. When she returned at lunchtime he had got up, his breakfast was infront of him, but he had died.
Jase was 19 years old and although he had learning difficulties and diabetes, he was fit and healthy. He just woke up and died. This is referred to as sudden adult death syndrome.
Jase was a kind, loving boy who went out of his way to help people. Jase saw the good in everyone, and treated everyone as a friend. He had a great sense of humour and gave the best hugs. He always knew how to make you feel better.
Jase struggled with life because of his learning difficulties, but had great tenacity and never gave up. He was hard work at times, but the rewards he gave outdid any heartache. He was my friend, my baby, my reason for living and I miss him so very much.
My darling how I miss you at Christmas and always. What fun we had choosing and putting up the tree. God Bless you my darling and keep you safe in his loving arms.

We little knew that morning
that God was going
to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called your home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us
one by one,
the chain will link again.

Can't believe its 2 years since you left us. Miss you so much. You are still a source of strength to me and I think of you all the time, especially when things go wrong. Your positive and forgiving attitude holds me in good stead. Sleep well and God Bless. Granxxxx

My Darling Grandson
I can no longer see you my darling grandson
but you remain with me always.

13 months now, it doesn't get any easier. Only 3 weeks now till Kayleigh's wedding. How I am going to get through it without you, I don't know.

Jase,
A year without you. It still makes no sense. I love you and miss you so very much.
Deano, Luciano and Jake came up from the caravan to see you today. We went to the pub and had a few beers for you.
Your bench is being unveiled this weekend and I have started a pool competition at the clubhouse in your name. Your name will live on forever at Rye Bay.
